The CréaSon show owes its originality to the reinvented percussion instruments to which it introduces young people of all ages. Hockey sticks, saucepans, water bottles and Pringle’s potato chip boxes become xylhockey sticks, saucepanophones, bottlephones and shakers. The rich sound of these instruments, which is equal to that of conventional instruments, amazes listeners and fills them with wonder.

To the lively rhythms of his original compositions, Sylvain Grenier hosts the show with energy and humour, and always succeeds in captivating participants. It’s a guaranteed fun and learning experience!

During the show, participants are invited to express their feelings by singing and moving to the beat. After the show, the laboratory allows about twenty people – chosen by the artists – to try out CréaSon’s reinvented instruments and to participate in a musical group creation.

Last of all, participants are invited to ask questions and to comment on their experience.
